Another chemokine recently
shown to be important in the recruitment of neutrophils to melanoma
tumors is GCP-2 (CXCL6). Specific anti-CXCL6 monoclonal antibodies
not only reduced recruitment of neutrophils to tumor sites in
mice but also caused reduction in tumor growth
